Overview

This Summer School will provide an opportunity for practitioners engaged in reinsurance to partake in an intensive practical and academic course of study. The School will concentrate on the skills, such as accounting and actuarial, and the knowledge required to face the challenges of the future.

The course has been designed specifically to build a firm foundation of core principles in a number of disciplines, then extend the principles into more complex and detailed areas. Involvement will be actively encouraged at all points of the course, including delegates working in groups to produce a topical paper for presentation.
